Sister Linda K. Burton and her Husband Visited Chile in May of 2012

On Friday, May 11 our mission had the wonderful opportunity to greet Sister Linda K. Burton and her husband as they visited and ministered to many people in Santiago. It was a great blessing to us to feel their love and to have the opportunity to express our love and support of them as Sister Burton embarks upon her calling as General Relief Society President. We immediately felt great love for her and her husband. We also had the opportunity to attend a fireside at the Lynch North Chapel where they taught us and fed us spiritually. What a blessing for Chile to receive Sister Burton and her love. We look forward with great anticipation to all that we will learn from them over the next few years. Sister Burton's visit is further evidence to us of our Heavenly Father's love for His Chilean children.

Our office missionaries take such good care of our office. They are responsible, smart, loving, and capable in every way. We love them and appreciate very much all that they do to keep the mission running smoothly.

April 2012 Mission President Seminar

During the month of April, President and Sister Laycock were blessed to be able to learn from every Mission President and wife in Chile, our Area Presidency and their wives, Elder Grow, and Elder Duncan of the First Quorum of the Seventy. We met together for two days and received training and instruction. We will be and do better because of the loving instruction we received. We are so full of gratitude for the Lord's chosen servants who lead and guide His Church throughout the world.
