On Tuesday, June 15 we were blessed with two wonderful and brave new Hermanas straight from the Provo MTC. We picked them up at the Santiago Airport and took them directly to the Santiago Temple for a picture and short orientation.
They were excited to speak the Spanish language and begin teaching their Chilean brothers and sisters about the true, restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.
As custom dictates, they wrote letters to their parents which we sent that day to confirm their safe arrival to the Chile Santiago East Mission.
By lunch time they were with their new companions and eating lunch in the home of a church member. We are certain that these two wonderful Hermanas will add love and commitment to our Mission. We love them so much already! We are just going to write their names as Hermana W. and Hermana N. because their names are soooo fun to spell. And if we thought it was fun to spell their names, it was even more fun to hear our Latin missionaries pronounce their names. We are so happy to welcome them to the Santiago East Mission.
