Greetings from the Chile, Santiago East Mission

Greetings from the Chile, Santiago East Mission.

You will be hearing reports that there was an earthquake in Chile. The Earthquake occured 212 miles south of Santiago in Concepcion. Although communication is down in Santiago, we are working to establish communication lines with all missionaries. The Elders and Sisters are well prepared and know exactly what to do in cases of emergency.

Please be aware that we are doing everything possible to make sure that all are safe. We will keep you advised as information becomes available. Thank you for your prayers.

Thank you for going to the effort of posting your most recent information. My brother is currently serving in this mission, Elder Sorensen. I know the Lord will bless his missionaries but I am still eager to get any information about his current situation and those he serves with as quickly as possible.
